About Dr. Teh

Background Information

Dr. Teh has received training in the field of clinical psychology, developmental psychology, early childhood education and applied behavioral analysis (ABA) at established universities and research labs in the United States. These sites included UC Berkeley, UCLA, Santa Monica College and Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. She received trainings at reputable sites including Douglass Developmental Disabilities Center, Children’s Specialized Hospital, Child Mind Institute, and Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities. She completed her final year of doctoral internship at John Hopkins Medicine/ Kennedy Krieger Institute in Maryland, USA.

With more than 10 years of clinical, research and education experiences, Dr. Teh is skilled at providing psychological and behavioural therapy to children, adolescents and adults across the diagnostic spectrum, including autism (ASD), Attention deficit/hyperactivity disorders (ADHD), disruptive behavior disorders, mood and anxiety disorders. Being a licensed Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), she is highly skilled at using behavioural interventions while weaving in methodologies of early childhood education and social skill training for children with special needs.

Dr. Teh is also trained in the administration and evaluation of various diagnostic and psychological measures (e.g., ADOS-2, ADI-R, WISC, WAIS, WIAT, DKEFS). Additionally, Dr. Teh provides extensive parent training and school consultations.

While Dr. Teh provides diagnostic evaluations, a diagnosis is not warranted to initiate and continue services with Dr. Teh.
